WILL THE SEED PACKETS BE LABELED?
Yes! Each seed packet you receive will be accurately labeled with the specific seeds that are inside. The only "surprise" part is not knowing what you will receive each month. That's part of the fun!
HOW DOES THE SEED CLUB WORK?
⊹ Join the Seed Club by choosing your subscription plan: month-to-month, 3 months, or 6 months.
⊹ Receive a surprise, newly released seed packet (and bonus goodies!) each month. All Seed Club envelopes are typically mailed out on the 8th of each month.
Each seed packet is filled with high quality, open-pollinated seeds and features hand-drawn art. This is a cute and fun way to grow your own food while supporting human-made art!
⊹ You can update your payment information, shipping address, or pause or cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account on the Groovy Root website.
CAN I CHOOSE THE SEEDS I WANT?
Each month, I will select the seeds that all members will receive that month. Every monthly seed packet is guaranteed to be a NEW release not yet available in store. As a member, you are getting first dibs on all new Groovy Root seeds.
If you missed a month, check back in the shop to purchase seeds from previous months.
If you plan to sow the seeds in the ground or in a garden bed outside, please make sure to check your USDA hardiness zone ensure your herbs and vegetables will thrive. All care guide pages for our seeds will give you more zone info.
CAN I GIFT A SUBSCRIPTION TO SOMEONE?
Yes! Simply enter the recipient's name and mailing address in the shipping section during checkout. Please note that there is no gift note provided, so you will need to directly inform the recipient of their gift.
Please keep in mind when gifting a subscription: the subscription management dashboard is only available to the account holder who purchased the subscription.
WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION?
New ongoing monthly subscriptions will renew on the 7th of every month. The 3-month and 6-month subscriptions are a one-time payment made at checkout and do not auto renew.
Please keep in mind this is a small business! So, I will be doing my best to ship your order by the 8th of every month.
Shipping for The Seed Club is always free! However, you will not receive tracking. This is snail mail.
HOW CAN I MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You can manage your subscription at any time by registering and logging in here.
Once logged in, navigate to the "Manage Subscription" in your profile. There you can update your payment information, change your shipping address, or pause or cancel your subscription as needed.
ARE THE SEEDS ZONE-SPECIFIC?
No. Every Seed Club member receives the same exact same seed each month. However, we typically choose seeds that can be grown across a wide range of zones.
You can think of The Seed Club as a monthly invitation to grow something new rather than a perfectly timed planting guide. Some months you may save your seeds for the right season.
All seed packets include a QR code that leads you to a free care guide with zone specific planting information to help you figure out the best approach for your area.
